Who We Really?

1988ri is an online wagering platform founded in Malaysia in 2019. Our name reflects our commitment to heritage and precision — the number 1988 represents the spirit of a generation of Malaysian players who grew alongside the digital entertainment industry, while "ri" stands for "riang" (joy) and "inovasi" (innovation), the core values that drive our operations every day.

From day one, 1988ri set out to be more than just another gaming platform. Our goal is to build a comprehensive digital entertainment ecosystem where Malaysian players can enjoy a wide variety of games — from video slots and live sports betting to fish shooting games, bingo, and Live Casino — all under one safe and licensed roof.

What sets 1988ri apart from other platforms in the market is our player-centric approach. Every product decision, every platform update, and every promotion we design starts with one simple question: does this genuinely benefit our players? This philosophy is what has brought 1988ri to the level of trust we enjoy today from over 100,000 active members across Malaysia.

Trusted and Certified

1988ri operates under a valid, internationally recognised betting licence. All our games use third-party certified RNG (Random Number Generator) technology, ensuring every game outcome is completely random and fair, free from any manipulation.
